1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of BuildersHub, including the BuildersHub website, mobile app, onboarding flows, waitlist and survey forms, and related services.
By accessing or using BuildersHub, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use BuildersHub.
2. Who may use BuildersHub
BuildersHub is intended for users who can legally agree to these terms and use the service in line with the target audience selected for the product. BuildersHub is not directed to children under 13.
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account details reasonably current, and use BuildersHub only in a lawful and honest way.
3. Accounts and sign-in
Some BuildersHub features require an account. You may be able to sign in using supported methods such as Google, GitHub, or other authentication options made available by the service.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, team, or project.
- You must promptly notify BuildersHub if you believe your account has been compromised.
- We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe an account violates these terms, creates security risk, or is used abusively.
4. Your profile, project, and content submissions
You remain responsible for the information, text, links, project descriptions, and other materials you submit to BuildersHub.
- You must only submit content you have the right to use, share, or publish.
- You must not upload or link content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful.
- You understand that profile and project information may be displayed according to product design and your selected visibility settings.
- You are responsible for making sure any project or community-facing information is appropriate for sharing.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use BuildersHub to:
- break the law or encourage unlawful conduct;
- harass, threaten, abuse, or exploit other users;
- create, upload, share, request, or facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation, including child sexual abuse material, grooming, or sexualization of minors;
- spam, scrape, automate, or overload the service in unauthorized ways;
- bypass abuse-prevention, rate-limit, or security controls;
- upload malicious code, harmful links, or deceptive project information;
- infringe privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights; or
- mislead others about your identity, project status, capabilities, or affiliations.
6. Community moderation and enforcement
BuildersHub may review reports, monitor abuse signals, remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, users, legal compliance, or product integrity.
We are not obligated to host, keep, or publish any specific content, account, or feature.
7. Third-party services and connected accounts
BuildersHub may integrate with or rely on third-party services such as Google, GitHub, Firebase, Google Cloud, and related infrastructure providers. If you choose to sign in with or connect a third-party service, your use of that service is also subject to its own terms and privacy practices.
BuildersHub may use limited metadata from linked services where needed to authenticate users, support onboarding, improve project setup, or power connected product features.
8. Early access and service changes
BuildersHub may still be evolving. Features may be changed, limited, interrupted, redesigned, or removed without notice. Some parts of the service may be experimental, incomplete, or available only to selected users.
We do not guarantee that BuildersHub will always be available, error-free, or suitable for any specific purpose.
9. Intellectual property
BuildersHub, including its name, branding, design, software, and service materials, is owned by BuildersHub or its licensors except for user-submitted content and other materials owned by third parties.
You retain rights in the content you submit, but you grant BuildersHub a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and provide the service.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
BuildersHub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We make no promise that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from bugs or third-party failures.
To the extent permitted by law, BuildersHub and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business-loss damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
11. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we do, we will update the date on this page. Continued use of BuildersHub after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
We may suspend or terminate all or part of BuildersHub, or your access to it, where reasonably necessary for legal, operational, product, or security reasons.
